Responsible Events

How do we celebrate in style while treading lightly on the planet?  Continuing to find ways to ensure our clients have the best events possible while minimizing the environmental impact of their events is becoming our mission.  At Inventive Events, we are continually striving to adhere to the following practices:
Being responsible in the office:

• - We endeavour to be a paper-free office and only use recyclable paper where printing is necessary. 
• - We strongly discourage any unnecessary post from third parties
• - We use email as an alternative to paper/envelopes wherever possible
• - We encourage and provide paper free financial transactions
• - All of our publicity is email and web based.

To make our events more responsible

• - We use recycled/recyclable materials where possible
• - We use energy efficient energy sources and supplies where possible
• - We favour suppliers who have a strong environmental ethos.
• - We use local suppliers to eliminate unnecessary transport.
• - We ensure that most event waste is recycled
• - We assess transportation for each event and keep to a minimum
• - We source locally produced food

We will do our best to make your event as responsible as possible. However, we can also recommend projects for offsetting any remaining carbon emissions from your event, should you so wish.
