Once you have your basics in place, it’s time to start filling your space – perhaps it’s going to be a sit down gala dinner, maybe a more informal party with tray food, or even a conference. There are lots of great items of furniture available to hire. From standard banqueting tables and chairs, to really unusual sofas, poseur tables and centrepiece bars. LED furniture is also a great way to combine furniture and lighting all at once. Choose your theme or style and create something amazing.
Table decorations
If you’re having a gala dinner event, then you can really go to town on making your tables look amazing. Starting with your tablecloths – there are so many colours available. Don’t always assume white, it can be boring, even black is much more atmospheric and looks great with good lighting. Ugly chairs can be transformed with chaircovers and adorned with sashes, ties or something even crazier like feather boas! Tables themselves can be internally lit with LED lights which can look spectacular. Table centrepieces can range from mind-blowing floral displays, flamboyant candelabra, stunning perspex and LED centrepieces – there are so many to choose from.
Don’t always think of table centrepieces as floral displays. Whilst there are some incredible florists out there who can create some real masterpieces, remember to consider some even more fantastic options that are available and will add to the wow factor of the room.
Chaircovers
Chaircovers can not only change the appearance of ugly venue chairs, they can change the look of the whole room.
People often wrongly assume that chaircovers are for weddings only. However, they come in different colours and can be decorated in many interesting ways. Black chaircovers on their own can look very stylish and draw the eye towards the table tops instead of whatever ugly chairs are beneath the covers.
We also provide a chaircover hire service if that is of interest to you.
Meanwhile, here are a few ideas for great chaircover transformations.
Hang unusual things
There are many things that can be hung from the ceiling to enhance your room, such as chandeliers, mirror balls, strings of light bulbs, lanterns, strings of flowers like wisteria, ribbons or large sails. All of these will add another dimension to the room.
